HUNAN HENGYANG STEEL TUBE (GROUP) CO.,LTD.{HENGSTEEL for short}, founded in 1958,is one of the three largest specialized seamless steel pipe production enterprises in China, and production base in Central South China. 　　It has five steel pipe and two electric furnace steel making -horizontal continuous casting round billet production lines, of whichφ89 Mandrel Mill Production Line has integrated with the latest hot rolling seamless steel pipe production technology of the world today. All of its main equipments are imported and the equipment level has reached advanced international level of 1990' s. The Steel Making -Continuous Casting Line, adopting electric arc furnace melting -ladle furnace refining -completely horizontal continuous casting round billet process, is of the advanced international level of 1980' s .The main technology equipments of the other production lines are of the advanced level in China. Hengsteel always pays attention to new product research and developing new products in order to upgrade and replace the old. Its products have increased from the original 2 categories, 17 kinds,2000 sizes into 3 categories 30 kinds, 4100 sizes. Its products have been sold to all the provinces including Taiwan ,cities and autonomous regions, and large quantity are export each year. Hengsteel possesses a complete and effective quality system that is in normal operation. In April, 1989, it was certified by CCS.

In November 1999, its tubing and line pipe acquired API monogram licenses from American Petroleum Institute. Its product material quality enjoys high reputation in China. Among them, its automobile semi-shaft casing has won material Quality Gold Cup Award, and Best Quality Product Title in China, in addition, six kinds of its products have won Best Quality Product Title with the steel tube&pipe industry.
