 Aramco’s Approved vendor list
Tubes China & DP-Master will hopefully be included in Aramco’s Approved vendor list
On Apr. 24th and 25th,2009, the quality expert from Aramco made a two days’ survey to DP-Master, Tubes China as the sales agent and DP-Master as the manufacturer got the approval by word of month
The quality expert from Saudi Arabia commented: “As this plant has prestigious manufacturing facilities and excellent management, it will hopefully get the approval from Aramco in one week, normally the procedure takes two weeks or more.”
Aramco is the world’s largest oil company, while DP-Master is the largest manufacturers of drill pipe in China. Although the world’s demand for oil is shrinking due to the recent global financial crisis, Aramco has kept exploiting new oil fields, by which the senior managers from the three companies believe the cooperation among the three parties will be a win-win situation.
Background Information:
On Dec. 4th, 2008, the quality expert from Aramco made an initial survey to DP-Master, during which the plant left very good impression to the auditor and the two sides agreed upon the schedule for the second round of the survey.
On Feb. 19th, 2009, Aramco dispatched technical expert from Japan to make technical survey towards DP-master, during which the plant’s production facilities and processiong techniques won great praise from the Japanese expert.
